MDView - A simple viewer for MangaDex
The MangaDex manga aggregator exposes an API for 3rd party reader applications. These were useful in mid-2021 before the official reader was available. And may still be useful where VPNs are required to access the site. Or the features of the official site do not align with your preferred usage.
MDView implements a simple reader for Windows/.NET. Aesthetic runs in the vein of your 1990's-era data-entry program thrown together in visual basic. But it does work (for the subset of MangaDex functionality I typically use).
Features
Search manga by title or using the ID from your existing bookmarks to MangaDex.
Organize manga in locally-stored follow lists.
View current status including last-read and new updates to followed manga.
Read manga by downloading images from the MangaDex at home network.
